Latteria di San Marino

Brand identity, label, packaging and ad design for Latteria di San Marino. The company processes goat, cow and sheep milk. Thanks to passion and artisanal dedication, both fresh and aged cheese varieties are produced, reminiscent of tradition. The brand name is an explicit reference to historical milk farms and stores of the past.

For this reason, a – handmade – vintage-styled font was chosen. It is a way to stress the importance of differentiating elements on which brand identity is built, i.e. the genuineness of “old-fashioned” products. The oval border around the brand and the rounded font recall spilled milk. Along the same lines, the same can be said for the dots on the “is”, as metaphorical drop shapes, as well as the three Towers, which identify the Republic of San Marino. The colors are connected to the colors of the San Marino flag and to the distinguishing elements of lightness and freshness.
